Duotone Fuselage Aero AL 3BS

The Duotone AERO AL 3BS Fuselage has been updated and improved to increase performance in the water. Now the 66cm and 74cm AL 3BS fuselages replacing the previous 68cm and 78cm carbon fuselages. The move to aluminum construction allows the cross-section of the fuselage to be reduced and, consequently, to reduce the drag generated by the fuselage. At the same time, it increases resistance, with a weight increase of only 2.5%. All AL 3BS fuselages feature a small recession at the rear to sink the stabilizer and improve hydrodynamics. They also have large openings where the front wing mounting is placed, to help keep weight to a minimum. Of course, the new aluminum fuselages will require a little more care and will need to be disassembled and washed with fresh water after each use, but the performance gain is worth it!
